Astrology is a remarkable tool and I utilize it, both in my personal life as well as my private practice. There are so many ways to apply this ever-evolving, time-honored science. Not only does it enable us to understand the Self and how it relates to the world in which we live, but it is also a useful tool that can be used to help us recognize and understand our gifts and talents while identifying the blockages that may be holding us back.

If we look at the history of astrology, beginning with the contributions of the Greeks, Chaldeans, Hebrews, Hindus etc. we can see more clearly the progressive evolution that has taken place over time.
The roots of astrology lie within the contextual and tribalcentric traditions of the ancient cultures. With the dawning of western astrology, the focus shifted to reflect the emergence of psychology and its exploration of the ego and personality development.
Astrology continues to evolve but it’s going back to its roots. Moving into the 21st century, we now find this science becoming more soul-centered as it mirrors the expansion of human consciousness that is once again taking place.
In the new millennium, our understanding of the bond between individual and community is expanding and leading us to a deeper understanding of the connection and unity we share with All, the Oneness of being. As we find our sense of personal destiny increasing, astrology provides us with a window through which we can explore the personality, its inner connection to the soul and our Life’s purpose.
Beyond the Daily Horoscope… How it Works
From the moment we take our first independent breath, we embark upon an unfolding of the call to individuate and a birthing of the unique self. Our personal journey is mapped out around the astrological wheel where an amazing story of potentiality is revealed, beginning with the degree of the ascendant or rising sign.
My focus with Astrology is primarily with the Natal chart which provides clues that pertain to the Soul’s path and its blockages.
Within the context of birth to the first several years, I’m able to glean what was wanton in a person’s childhood, and how that contributed to the blockages that are currently impacting their lives.
